What accessories come with a 3D welding table?

Jul 27, 2026

Standard 3D welding tables are usually supplied as a main table body, while a series of modular accessories can be selected as matched kits. The exact accessory list varies based on supplier packages, workpiece types and hole standards (D16 or D28). All accessories follow unified dimensional tolerances and can be freely combined to build custom fixturing layouts for welding and metal assembly.

Locating pins belong to the fundamental positioning accessories. Available in multiple lengths, straight locating pins and threaded locating pins fit precisely into the grid holes on the tabletop and side panels. They establish accurate datum points for workpieces, replacing manual marking and ensuring consistent repeatability for batch production. Quick-release locating pins allow faster mounting and removal to improve setup efficiency.

Support blocks and adjustable supports are essential for bearing workpieces. Flat support blocks, height-variable supports and V-blocks are widely used to prop up sheet metal, tubular profiles and frame components. Reasonable multi-point support prevents workpieces from sagging under their own weight and maintains flatness before clamping. Different heights of supports enable flexible leveling for irregular structures.

Angle brackets realize three-dimensional spatial positioning. 90-degree fixed angle brackets, 45-degree brackets and adjustable multi-angle brackets can be installed horizontally or vertically. They create vertical and inclined reference surfaces, which are critical for complex frames, roll cages and spatial assemblies that cannot be fixed on a single plane.

Multiple types of clamps form the core fastening set. Common options include screw clamps, pull clamps and quick toggle clamps. They deliver stable clamping force to lock components firmly during welding. Many clamps are equipped with protective pressure caps to avoid scratches or indentations on stainless steel and thin plate surfaces. Operators can install clamps anywhere on the hole grid to restrict movement in multiple directions.

Connection auxiliary parts expand application flexibility. Connecting bolts, extension bars, spacers and sliding blocks extend fixture positions and adjust clamping distances. When fabricating large or asymmetric workpieces, these connectors help assemble larger fixturing systems without secondary machining.

Other practical auxiliary accessories are often optional extras. Anti-spatter coatings protect the tabletop from slag damage. Leveling feet are pre-installed on most tables to adjust horizontal balance on uneven workshop ground. Some suppliers also offer storage racks for orderly arrangement of all modular tooling.

It is important to distinguish between D16 and D28 series accessories. Fixtures for the two standards are not interchangeable. D16 accessory kits suit light and medium-duty fabrication, while D28 sets provide higher load capacity for heavy frames and large structural parts. Customers can choose full accessory kits or purchase separate accessories according to their production demands.

Many manufacturers provide basic starter kits and premium expanded kits. Starter packages contain the most commonly used pins, supports and clamps for regular welding tasks. Expanded kits include more special brackets and long-stroke clamps to handle complicated three-dimensional workpieces.

With a complete set of matched accessories, the 3D welding table can fully demonstrate its modular advantages. Workshops no longer need to repeatedly manufacture dedicated one-off jigs, significantly cutting tooling costs, shortening production preparation time and improving flexibility for diversified orders.
