The nitriding process greatly improves their surface hardness, wear resistance and anti-spatter performance, narrowing the performance gap with cast iron products. However, steel materials have poor vibration damping effect, which may cause slight workpiece jitter and affect welding fineness. They are also prone to thermal deformation under continuous high-heat welding, and the deformed tabletop cannot be repaired. Besides, welding slag adheres more easily to the steel surface, increasing daily cleaning workload.

Steel 3D welding tables are ideal for budget-limited small factories, mobile working stations and general structural welding with medium precision requirements. A clear material selection can maximize input-output ratio and optimize overall welding production efficiency.
